Doctor Christina Chrysohoou

Dr Chrysohoou studied in the Medical School of the University of Patra (1986-1992) trained in Cardiology at the First Cardiology Clinic of Athens University Medical School. She performed her Doctorate (PhD) in Medicine,in the subject area of the echocardiographic evaluation of left ventricular diastolic function. She has been trained in echocardiography at St Georges Hospital, University of London, UK (1999), Epidemiology and Medical statistics , London School of Hygeine (2000), Heart Failure and rehabilitation (VAMC, Washington, DC, 2004-5), Cardiac MRI and 3D-echo (Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, 2013-2014). She is Board member of Hellenic Society of Cardiology, Board member of MCQ writing committee, Head of Heart Failure and Epidemiology Clinics of 1rst Cardiology Clinic, Athens; author of 414 original research and review articles published in international peer reviewed journals (mean IF 3.5, citations 30000+) with more than 600 invited talks in epidemiology, heart failure.
