Doctor Ramesh Nadarajah

Leeds General Infirmary, Leeds (United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland)

Dr Nadarajah is a BHF clinical research fellow at the Leeds Institute of Data Analytics at the University of Leeds and a Cardiology Speciality Registrar at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He qualified in medicine at the University of Cambridge and is currently completing a PhD investigating the prediction of atrial fibrillation in the general population using routinely collected data in primary care. His research interests include prediction modelling, using large datasets to derive epidemiological insights and inform public health policy, and the use of routinely-collected data in clinical trials. His clinical interests are in general cardiology, atrial fibrillation, heart failure, and cardiovascular disease prevention, with a particular interest in community-based digital initiatives and population health.
