Center For Clinical Heart Research, Oslo (Norway)

Member of:

European Society of Cardiology
Heart Failure Association

Rypdal is a postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Dr. Ida G. Lunde at Akershus University Hospital and the University of Oslo, with a PhD in basic and translational cardiac research. Our research area is molecular mechanisms of heart failure, with particular focus on fibrosis and the role of extracellular matrix proteins in the heart.

The collagen-binding proteoglycan fibromodulin is substantially upregulated in the myocardial infarct and affects cardiac function and remodelling in mice
