Dr. Kulstad is Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center and attending physician in the Parkland Hospital emergency department. His research interests include care of the emergent/undifferentiated patient, temperature and its influence on patient outcomes, resuscitation, and the development of medical devices and technology. He received degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland and the University of Houston, and his medical degree from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, USA.
