Kai is an Assistant Professor in Epidemiology at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. The main emphasis of her research has been in using population-based epidemiologic methods to identify and quantify the risk factors affecting health outcomes in cardiovascular disease and cancer using large health linkage data. Kai has extensive experience in data analysis including longitudinal linkage data, clinical trials , health survey and meta-analysis of scientific literature. Her recent research focused on understanding CVD risk in brain cancer patients using cancer registry data from US and UK by working with cross-disciplinary expertise in neuro-oncology and molecular epidemiology. Kai previous research also included the preventive cardiology and cardiovascular inequalities using large data analysis.
