Doctor Giulio Francesco Romiti is a Researcher and Internal Medicine physician at Sapienza - University of Rome, Italy, and Research Fellow at Liverpool Centre for Cardiovascular Science, University of Liverpool, UK. His main research interests are related to the clinical and epidemiological aspects of cardiovascular diseases, and particularly atrial fibrillation, with a specific focus on the concept of "clinical complexity", as the interplay of ageing, multimorbidity, frailty and other non-traditional determinants of health.
