Doctor Paul Bamford

Paul Bamford is a cardiologist and currently the interventional fellow at John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle, Australia and conjoint fellow at the University of Newcastle. He completed his advanced training in New South Wales, Australia. Having studied his undergraduate and masters degrees at Oxford University, he pursued a career in investment banking before studying medicine at Warwick University. He worked as a junior doctor in Portsmouth in the UK before being enticed to the East Coast of Australia. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (London) and fellow of the Royal College of Australian Physicians. His research interests include complex percutaneous coronary intervention and intracoronary physiology.
