Mr. Aad Withaar received his master degree Biology in 2017 at the University of Groningen. He is currently employed as PhD-candidate at the department of Experimental Cardiology, University medical Centre Groningen under supervision of Prof. Dr. RA de Boer. His project involves translational animal research on Heart Failure with Preserved ejection Fraction (HFpEF). Aad is currently studying novel intervention strategies in a cardiometabolic mouse model for Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection fraction (HFpEF)
