Doctor Marta Diachyshyn

Dr. Diachyshyn began her cardiology residency training in 2021 at the Interventional Cardiology Department of Saint John Paul II Hospital in Cracow. She has always been deeply interested in cardiology, particularly interventional cardiology and research related to the development of new diagnostic tools to assess microcirculatory coronary disease. Her current research focuses on noninvasive diagnosis of coronary artery disease and different mechanisms of microcirculatory coronary disfunction. Prior to beginning her residency, Dr. Diachyshyn completed her internship at the University Hospital in Cracow where she also served as a physician staffing a temporary COVID-19 hospital during the pandemic. Dr. Diachyshyn speaks three languages including Polish, English, and Ukrainian.
