Dr. Alice Sacco, an intensivist cardiologist, has been working at the CICU of "De Gasperis" Cardio Center, ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda, Milan, Italy, since 2008. She obtained the "Lifelong II level Certification in Acute Cardiac Care" from the European Society of Cardiology in 2016. Her expertise lies in the management of acute coronary syndromes, myocarditis, pulmonary embolism and cardiogenic shock. Her research focuses on cardiogenic shock and pulmonary embolism, with a strong interest in end-of-life management and bioethics. She loves classical music and the mountains.
