A native of Morcone, Benevento, Italy, Dr. Michele Golino completed his medical degree (M.D.) at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, Italy, followed by a cardiology fellowship and a Ph.D. in experimental and translational medicine at the University of Insubria in Varese, Italy. In 2022, he joined Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia, where he served as a senior postdoctoral clinical research fellow in the Division of Cardiology. During this time, Dr. Golino also developed active research collaborations with the University of Virginia (UVA) in Charlottesville, Virginia. In 2025, he joined the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville as a Noninvasive Cardiologist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine.
