Dr. Anthony Matta MD MPH was born in Byblos (Jbeil), Lebanon. He obtained his medical degree and diploma of specialized studies in cardiovascular medicine at Holy Spirit University of Kaslik. His residency was at Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and its affiliated Notre Dame de Secours University Hospital, and he completed his trained and fellowships at Toulouse University Hospital, Rangueil, France in interventional and structural cardiology. He obtained his postgraduate diploma in interventional cardiology at University of Paris and postgraduate diploma in intensive cardiovascular care at University of Montpellier. He obtained his master of public health degree at Paul Sabatier (Toulouse III) University. He is the author of 38 scientific publications.
