Dr. Jorge Lara is cardiologist, cardiac rehabilitator, and sports cardiologist. He is currently the head of the cardiac rehabilitation service at "20 de Noviembre Hospital" and his own Cardiofit clinic. He is also a professor of both specialty and advanced specialty care at his hospital. He is also a member of the Mexican Council of Cardiology, and his private center is a member of the International Council of Cardiovascular Rehabilitation.
He is an international speaker and researcher. He has more than 20 publications in his field of specialty, some of them 20 book chapters, and is also the principal author and editor of his own book: "Cardiac Rehabilitation, Prevention, and Sports Cardiology: Updates and Controversies."
