Doctor Angela-Teodora Achim

Teodora received her medical degree from the University of Medicine in Romania. She is currently in her second year of residency in general cardiology at the Emergency Clinical Hospital in Sibiu (Romania). During colleage, she dedicated more than 2 years practicing medicine as volunteer at the Emergency Service for Resuscitation and Extrication. Also, her educational development is entirely based on medical studies, curses and specific trainings. A big impulse for cardiology was brought by an internship at INCCI Haerz Zenter – “Institut National de chirurgie cardiaque et de cardiologie interventionelle” in Luxembourg. What she loves most about studying cardiology is that this speciality is always challenging and makes perfect use of the latest biomedical technology. Currently, her research interests are echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and electrophysiology. In her spare time, she likes to travel, skiing and relax with friends and family.
