Kumar Narayanan has in-depth experience spanning more than a decade in heart rhythm disorders. He is a keen academician and researcher and has authored or co-authored close to 100 peer reviewed scientific papers in various international journals including Circulation, JACC, European Heart Journal, Lancet Public Health, JAMA Cardiology, Heart Rhythm etc and two book chapters in cardiology. He is Associate Editor of the Indian Pacing and Electrophysiology Journal. He is a visiting scientist at the Paris Cardiovascular Research Centre and the Chair of the Young EP Subcommittee of the Asia-Pacific Heart Rhythm Society (APHRS) as well as Young Ambassador for the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA). His areas of research interest include sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), ICD/CRT utilization, atrial fibrillation epidemiology and rheumatic heart disease (RHD). He is passionate about teaching and is involved in several courses every year for physicians, residents and cardiology fellows.
