Mr Maros Ferencik

Maros Ferencik MD, PhD, MCR, MSCCT graduated from the medical school at Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. He completed his clinical and research training in internal medicine, cardiology, and advanced cardiac imaging (cardiac CT, echocardiography, cardiac MR, and nuclear cardiology) at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School. After completing of training, he joined the faculty of Knight Cardiovascular Institute at Oregon Health & Science University where he is a Professor of Medicine and Radiology, Section Head of Cardiovascular Imaging, Director of Cardiovascular CT Research, and Director of Cardio-Oncology Program. He has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Society of Cardiovascular Tomography and as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He currently serves as the President of the Society of Cardiovascular Tomography.
