Clareci Cardoso is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of São João del-Rei, Brazil. She holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Public Health Epidemiology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2005 and 2001), with postdoctoral training in: 1)Tropical Medicine at the University of São Paulo (2015), 2) Epidemiology at the University of California, Berkeley (2016), and 3) Infectology and Tropical Medicine at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2025). Dr. Cardoso has served as a consultant for the United Nations in the field of telehealth and currently coordinates the Telehealth Network of Minas Gerais at the Federal University of São João del-Rei. Her research focuses on public health, with expertise in health technologies, quality of life, Chagas disease, and primary health care.
