Dr. Petruzzo has been working as a nurse anaesthetist/scrub nurse in a cardiovascular unit since 2001. He achieved master's degree in nursing in 2010 and PhD in Nursing and Public Health in 2018. As a researcher he studied self-care improving methods in heart failure, particularly caregivers' contribution to self-care. He collaborates with the Centre of Excellence in Nursing Scholarship (Rome) and with the University La Sapienza - Master's Degree in Nursing (Rome).
