Bartlomiej M. Guzik, MD, PhD, FESC, is an Associate Professor at Jagiellonian University Medical Colledge and Director of the 5th Military Polyclinical Hospital in Kraków, Poland. He serves as Proxy to the Vice-Rector of Jagiellonian University Medical College for Humanitarian Aid and is a Senior Lecturer in Cardiology at the Jagiellonian University. Prof. Guzik specializes in interventional cardiology and coronary microcirculation diseases. His research contributions include over 70 scientific publications, focusing on cardiovascular disease and inflammatory processes. He is actively involved in humanitarian initiatives, notably founding and leading the Doctors Charity Center Foundation, coordinating medical missions across Africa. Bartlomiej speaks English, Polish, and basic Russian and French. Outside his professional life, he enjoys IT, cycling, swimming, and scuba diving.
