Dr. Sinning is the head of the echocardiography lab at the university heart center in Hamburg. His research interests in imaging are speckle tracking echocardiography of patients with atrial fibrillation . Further Dr. Sinning focusses on improving acute care of patients with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest with the needed treatment facilities. In addition, diagnosis and treatment of adult patients with congenital heart disease is a focus of Dr. Sinning's clinical work. The third field of research is heart failre and here especially adult patients with congenital heart disease and their management,
