Dr Parthiban Arumugam is a Consultant Nuclear Medicine Physician at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust UK. His main area of work is Nuclear Cardiology, in particular Cardiac PET and Myocardial Blood Flow. He is a Past President of the British Nuclear Cardiology Society (2011-13) . He has served as a council member of British Cardiac Society and British Nuclear Medicine Society(2011-13). He is a current member of the British Nuclear Medicine Society Scientific Committee and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology PET Committee. He also is the Chair ASNC PET Cases subcommittee. Dr Arumugam has published several articles in peer reviewed journals and also contributed to book chapters as well as a co-editor of a book (Cardiovascular PET -Current Concepts). His mother tongue is Tamil and an ardent cricket fan.
