Jesús Díaz-Gutiérrez (1995, Sevilla, Spain) is a Cardiology Resident at the University Hospital Juan Ramón Jiménez (2020, Huelva, Spain). He is a PhD candidate at the University of Seville (2021). Currently, he is conducting his research line on lifestyle, adiposity, and atrial fibrillation in 3 Mediterranean cohorts. He received his M.D from the University of Navarra (2019, Pamplona, Spain). He was the recipient of a scholarship from the Spanish Ministry of Education (2018-2019) to collaborate as Research Assistant at the Dpt. of Preventive Medicine and Public Health of the University of Navarra. For his outstanding contribution to the field of cardiovascular disease prevention and metabolic risk factors (>160 citations, h-index: 7), he was granted with the "Best Published Article in 2019" and the "Article with the Greatest International Impact at medium term in 2021 awarded by the Spanish Society of Cardiology. He has served as manuscript reviewer for several scientific journals.
