Dr. Naber started his career at the University Hospitals in Duesseldorf and Essen in Germany. He soon turned to interventional cardiology as his main field of interest and was part of the first TAVI implantation in Germany in 2004. After an interventional fellowship at Clinique Pasteur in France, he built up the Contilia Heart- and Vascular Centre in Essen, Germany. He soon became an active member of the PCR family and takes the responsibility as course director and course-co-director at several PCR activities. He is also member of the board of directors of the European Cardiovascular Research Center (CERC, Paris, France), and Chairman of the global Stent - Save a Life Initiative. In 2018 he left Germany to work in Zurich, Switzerland and to intensify his cooperation with the group of Dr. Wijns at the University of Galway, Ireland. Currently he is Director of the Medical Department I (Cardiology and Intensive Care) at the Klinikum Wilhelmshaven, Germany.
