Prof. van Laake has dedicated her clinical and research career to heart failure, with a strong focus on advanced heart failure. With her team, she has created a unique platform to integrate clinical care with translational research, including deep phenotyping, explanted human tissues, and patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cell models, generating both mechanistic insight and clinically relevant innovation.
