Professor Todd Villines

Dr. Villines is a Professor of Medicine, Imaging and Preventive Cardiologist, and Vice-Chair of the Virginia Cardiology Division (Clinical) at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. Dr. Villines completed undergraduate training at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY and medical school at the University of Oklahoma. He completed his training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the Walter Reed National Medical Center. He is the immediate-past Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cardiovascular CT (JCCT) and past-Chair of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Imaging Section, Past President of the Society of Cardiovascular CT (2017-2018), and Past Chair of the ACC Federal Cardiology Section. Dr. Villines has published more than 300 peer-reviewed manuscripts, and 10 books/chapters in the areas of cardiovascular imaging and prevention.
