Dr Stephen Pettit is a Consultant Cardiologist. He works in the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant unit at Royal Papworth Hospital. He is involved in the assessment of patients for heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support, and in the care of these patients after surgery. In addition, he is involved with implantation and follow-up of patients with complex pacemakers and defibrillators. He is interested in communicating clearly and honestly with patients, carers and colleagues.
