Johannes Grand is a medical doctor, researcher and clinician, holding a PhD, a master of public health. Specializing in acute and intensive care cardiology, he has made notable contributions in the areas of cardiac arrest and acute heart failure. His work is characterized by a strong focus on clinical research and pragmatic clinical trials. In the field of cardiology, Dr. Grand has a practical approach to research. Currently, Dr. Grand is a Senior Researcher and a cardiology registrar at Copenhagen University Hospital Amager-Hvidovre. He also holds leadership positions, including being Chair of the Young ACVC and elected board member of ACVC. Additionally, he is a Member of the ESC Committee for Young Cardiovascular Professionals (YCP) for the 2022-2024 mandate and a Board Member of Danish Young Cardiologists.
