Dr Shogade Tolulope Taiwo’s journey in medicine started at a young age when she first had direct contact with a doctor, impressed by his gentle and caring qualities, naturally a caring person herself she decided she was going to be a doctor. Dr Shogade graduated among the first ten in her class in Medicine and Surgery from Obafemi Awolowo University in 2005. Her specialist training was undertaken at University of Uyo Teaching Hospital. She also visited reputable centers in her country to train. In 2016, she was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist in UUTH,Nigeria. She is an expert in prevention, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases with special interest in heart failure, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmia and health economics. She has published in peer review journals, presented in international conferences and regularly review for scientific journals. She is presently working toward a master in Health Economics,Outcomes and Management in Cardiovascular Sciences
