I am the co-Group Leader of NUTRALiSS (Nutrition, Food, Health and Sustainability, for Spanish spelling) Research Group at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), aimed at the study of the interplay between nutrition, health and sustainability. I am a researcher in the field of nutrition and cardiovascular diseases with recognized experience in clinical trials and cohort studies in the field of nutrition, biomarkers, and cardiovascular diseases. I am a board member of GEIVEX (the working group of Spanish researchers specialized in the field of extracellular vesicles) since January 2024. I am Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, since 2021, where I am currently nucleus member (2022-2026) of the Working group of Cellular Biology of the Heart. I have been also involved in the Working Group on Thrombosis and the Council on Basic Cardiovascular Science (CBCS) both of the ESC, in which I have actively participated in the Scientific Committee of the FCVB 2024.
