Doctor Takahito Doi

MD, PhD Takahito Doi is a fully trained cardiologist and a researcher within cardiovascular sciences. He finished his clinical cardiology training at the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center, Osaka in Japan in 2018, and subsequently obtained his PhD with honor from Tohoku University in Japan in 2019. He has continued his interest in the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease including myocardial infarction. Moreover, his special interest is on familial hypercholesterolemia and coronary artery ectasia, in both of which myocardial infarction occurs. He is currently pursuing his research focusing on remnant cholesterol and cardiovascular disease with Prof. Borge Nordestgaard, Copenhagen in Denmark, who chairs the Copenhagen General Population Study.
