Milad Nazarzadeh is DPhil student at the University of Oxford with a scholarship from the British Heart Foundation. Milad's research interests include cardiovascular disease, genetic epidemiology and pharmacogenomics. His current research projects involve assessing causal risk factors of valvular heart disease, venous thromboembolism and atrial fibrillation using a combination of large-scale electronic health records and genetic techniques including Mendelian randomisation and genome-wide association studies.
