Dr. Josip A. Borovac (MD, PhD, FHFA, FESC) is an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases, University Hospital of Split in Split, Croatia. He received interventional training from Gemelli Hospital (Rome), Royal Stoke Hospital (UK), and Mount Sinai NYC (USA). He is currently a Committee Member of HFA’s Committee on Coronary Artery Disease. He previously served on various HFA’s and ESC’s Scientific Committees. He published a vast amount of scientific publications in areas of interventional cardiology, ischemia, ACS, PCI, and heart failure. Currently serves on the Editorial boards of top academic journals such as BMC CV Disorders, Cardiac Failure Review, European Heart Journal CR, and Cardiac Catheterization and Interventions (CCI). He peer-reviews for top cardiology journals. He is a contributing member of the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) and Heart Failure Association (HFA).
