Stefanos Zafeiropoulos is a PhD Student in the Elmezzi Graduate School in the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research. He focuses on vagus nerve stimulation in pulmonary hypertension and right heart failure. He completed his residency in internal Medicine in Greece and after his PhD completion, he will pursue a fellowship in Cardiology. He had worked as a research assistant at the Department of Cardiology in AHEPA hospital (Greece) and engaged in research and clinical trials. He had also completed with first class honors a MSc Programm named Medical Research Methodology provided by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Dr Zafeiropoulos graduated in 2018 with first class honors by the Medical School of Aristotle University in Thessaloniki and he completed part of his undergraduate education in Germany (Freiburg and Bochum). He has served as Secretary General and Vice President in Panhellenic board of Scientific Society of Hellenic Medical Students.
