Doctor Ayodipupo Sikiru Oguntade

Dr. Ayodipupo Oguntade is a doctoral scholar at the Oxford Population Health, University of Oxford where he works on the UK Biobank of 500,000 adults. Prior to his doctoral studies, he trained as a cardiologist at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria and won the Prof AC Ikeme cardiology prize for the outstanding cardiology fellow in the West African College of Physicians final board exams in 2020. He is a seasoned medical practitioner with a decade of experience in the public health sector. He was a Chevening/UK FCO scholar at the Institute of Cardiovascular Science, University College London between 2018 and 2019. He previously served as an editorial board member of the American College of Cardiology Fellows-In-Training (ACC FIT) webpage. Dr Oguntade is interested in the phenotypic and genetic substrates of cardiovascular diseases especially heart failure.
