She is an adult cardiologist from Spain caring for adults with congenital heart disease with particular expertise in advanced cardiac imaging. For the past decades, her roles and duties within ACHD Units at the Spanish National Health System have given her a broad overview of the issue. Beginning in 1990, she did her cardiology residency and worked as a cardiology consultant at Hospital La Paz in Madrid, and, for the last 20 years, has collaborated with It’s ACHD Unit in clinical research and more than 25 publications in the field. H index 16. In Seville she was the Head of the Echocardiography Lab from 2006 to 2016 and Head of ACHD Unit from 2016 to present at Hospital Universitario Virgen del Rocio. Member of the Cardiovascular Research Network (CIBERCV) from the Institute of Health Carlos III (ISCIII). Associate editor of Revista Española de Cardiologia.
