Dr. Masi is a cardiologist with a specialist interest in cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) and heart failure. She earned her MD summa cum laude from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome and completed her cardiology training at St. Annunziata Hospital (Sassari) and Niguarda Transplant Center (Milan). In 2018, she moved to the UK for clinical and research fellowships in CMR and heart failure at the University of Oxford (OCMR) and University College London (NAC, RFH NHS Foundation Trust). Since 2022, she has been at the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV), collaborating with the CIBM and EPFL under the supervision of Professor Schwitter and Stuber. Her primary research focuses on the application of non-contrast CMR mapping to enhance risk stratification and tailor care for patients with non-ischemic cardiomyopathies and heart failure.
