Dr Saba graduated from Cairo University, Egypt in 1994. After a fellowship and MSc in Cardiovascular Medicine he was appointed lecturer at Cairo University in 1999. He then completed an internship at the SUNY-New York and a residency in Internal Medicine at The George Washington University, Washington DC. After a fellowship in Cardiology at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana and a fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Loyola University, Chicago, in 2006 he was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland, Baltimore from 2006 to 2010. Since then, he is a Consultant and Reader in Cardiac Electrophysiology at St. George's Hospital, London, UK. Research focuses on the improvement of ventricular arrhythmia mapping and ablation strategies and he holds a patent in the field.
Dr Saba is Chairman of the London VT Symposium and Director of the Advanced Ventricular Arrhythmia Training and Research (AVATAR) program at St. George's University Hospital.
