Dr Monika Radike (nee Arzanauskaite) MD PhD FRCR is a Consultant Radiologist. Her special clinical interests include cardiomyopathy, cardiac tumours, congenital and structural heart disease and parenchymal lung disease. She is involved in imaging training and worked as the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital Trust Specialty Training Lead for Radiology for over two terms. As a result of her multisystem and multimodality background, she has already developed multiple academic projects linking cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. Her current research interests include ischaemic heart disease and cardioprotection, cardiac tumours and congenital heart disease. Her translational research work was awarded with the Fellow Research Prize in Cardiac Imaging in the meeting of the Radiological Society of North America, PhD Cum Laude and an Extraordinary PhD Prize. She serves on several society board committees and has received the RSNA Rising Star award in 2024.
