Doctor Karuppiah Kumaresan

Dr K Kumaresan did his MBBS from Madurai Medical College Tamil Nadu India and MAppSc in Nuclear Medicine from University College Dublin Ireland. He was heading the Dept of Nuclear Medicine, Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences Hyderabad until 1993. He was a practising consultant in Nuclear Medicine with various hospitals in Hyderabad. Nuclear Cardiology is the main area of his interest. He has the experience of more than 15,000 MPI procedures. He was teacher and examiner for DNB in Nuclear Medicine in India. He was Visiting Prof to Dr MGR Medical University Chennai. He is Fellow of the Indian College of Nuclear Medicine, He has 38 publications and 99 proffered papers to his credit. He was awarded orations by SNM India and Association of NM physicians of India. He has organized various work shops and CME's on Nuclear Cardiology. He introduced an interactive case based training CD on Nuclear Cardiology under ANMPI in 2014. He has served as advisor to IAEA Vienna.
