Dr. M. Casale took his degree in Medicine and Surgery, cum laude, at the University of Messina, Italy. He took his post-graduation diploma in Cardiovascular Diseases, cum laude, at the University of Messina. From March 2018 he is a permanent Medical Doctor at the Cardiology Department of the Hospital Santa Maria della Misericordia, ASUR Marche - AV 1, Urbino, Italy. His scientific activity is focused on a wide spectrum of cardiovascular diseases, ranging from Cardiac Arrhythmias to Heart Failure and to Cardiovascular Prevention. His activity is focused in Cardiac Electrophysiology and in cardiovascular prevention. He performs implantations and replacements of all kinds of cardiac devices, invasive electrophysiological studies, transcatheter ablations of the most common supraventricular tachycardias. He participates in ablation of atrial fibrilation and of complex arrhythmias, even by electroanatomical mapping systems.
