Gergely Racz is a Cardiologist in training at the University of Szeged, Department of Internal Medicine - Cardiology Center in Hungary.
He has been working at this institution since graduating general medicine at the University of Szeged in 2016.
During his year in training he developed an interest in cardiovascular imaging (primarily echocardiography), heart failure, rare myocardial diseases and congenital heart disease.
He is the member of the echocardiography, heart failure and myocardial diseases working groups at his instituion, and is conducting research in these fields.
Currently his interest focuses on novel echocardiographic methods for diagnosis and follow-up of heart failure in cardiomyopathies and congenital heart disease, and has facilitated bringing some into everyday clinical practice.
