Nathalie Conrad is associate professor in health data science and epidemiology at the university of Oxford and KU Leuven. Her research focusses on large-scale data analyses to study cardiovascular disease epidemiology, disease trajectories and risk factors. She completed a series of studies on cardiovascular risks in patients with autoimmune diseases, long-term trends in cardiovascular disease burden or the epidemiology of heart failure, investigating how sex and socio-economic differences impact disease incidence, care delivery and outcomes. She holds a DPhil in medical sciences from Oxford University, an engineering Master’s degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich), and previous work experience as a data analytics consultant at IBM.
