Roderick W. Treskes (MD, PhD, MSc) is a cardiology resident, currently working as a last year resident in the Leiden University Medical Center in Leiden, The Netherlands. His main clinical interest and working area is in electrophysiology. His main research focus is remote monitoring using wearables. He started his PhD on this subject in 2015 and obtained his PhD in September 2018 from Leiden University. He continued his research as a postdoctoral researcher in this area. His first mentee has obtained his PhD degree in 2023. He is a nucleus member of the e-Cardiology & AI working group of the ESC and a member of the eHealth & AI working group of the Dutch Society of Cardiology. Roderick speaks Dutch, English and German.
