I was trained as a clinical engineer (Twente) and medical doctor-clinical investigator (Maastricht) in the Netherlands. I am currently in training to become a cardiologist since November 2018 and am expected to finish in 2025. I have a special interest in cardiac modeling since 2013 as an undergraduate in Lugano and continued research about electro-anatomic mapping in cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) for 1.5 year as a PhD-student in Maastricht. I received the Dekker Clinical scientist research grant in 2021 (Dutch Heart Foundation) and interrupted my medical training in 2022 for a year to conduct research in the field of electrocardiographic imaging in CRT. My dream is to become a caring physician in the field of electrophysiology and to combine clinical work with innovative research. Research interest: Cardiac resynchronization therapy, electro-anatomic mapping, ECG-imaging, vectorcardiography, image integration, pacing related repolarization changes.
