Fernando Montenegro Sá, M. D. is the current head of the Arrhythmia unit for the ULSM - Hospital Pedro Hispano, Portugal, and is an EHRA certified Cardiac Devices Specialist. From 2021 to 2023, he was also the Portuguese young cardiology council coordinator. Currently, he is a member of the board of the Portuguese Cardiac Society, being highly involved in areas like health literacy and social media roles for public disease awareness. Since 2020 he joined the editorial board of the Portuguese Cardiology Journal. After graduating with a sub-specialization in medical informatics, he has recently been focusing on arrhythmia diagnosis using wearable devices.
