Dr. Mohammad Mostafa Ansari Ramandi (MD, FEACVI) worked as a consultant cardiologist in Iran before joining University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG). Entering medical university at a very young age of 14 enabled him to complete his studies as the youngest MD degree in Iran in 2012. He graduated as the youngest cardiologist from Rajaie Cardiovascular Medical and Research Center affiliated with Iran University of Medical Sciences in 2017. He joined UMCG as a scientific researcher in the department of cardiology in March 2021. Working on the OUTREACH Project under the supervision of Dr. Joost van Melle and Prof. Adriaan Voors, he loves to increase his research and clinical capabilities in the field of congenital heart diseases and heart failure. He hopes his presence in the UMCG is useful for contributing to reducing the burden of cardiovascular diseases in society. Apart from research, he loves traveling and understanding new cultures and people.
