Dr. Janet K. Han is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles and VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS). She is a practicing interventional cardiac electrophysiologist and the director of the Cardiac Arrhythmia Devices and Digital Health Program at VAGLAHS and has worked closely with the National VA Office of Connected Care & the VA Innovations Ecosystem as a consultant. She has been a co-author on several guidance papers on digital health, consumer wearables and cardiac/remote monitoring. She is the current Chair of the Heart Rhythm Society Communications committee, has served as the clinical science co-lead for the American Heart Associated 2024 Scientific Sessions, and as Vice Chair of the ACC Digital Strategy Committee. Her research interests in electrophysiology include digital health including cardiac monitoring, remote monitoring & virtual care, CIEDs, arrhythmia management and prevention, and anticoagulation.
