Dr. Gulay Mammadova is an interventional cardiologist currently practicing at Yeni Klinika in Baku, Azerbaijan. She began her cardiology career after completing her specialization in cardiology and has since focused on invasive procedures, acute coronary syndromes, and structural heart disease. Dr. Mammadova has presented clinical cases and original research at various national and international cardiology congresses, including the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) meetings. Her areas of interest include coronary artery disease, heart failure and the application of multimodal imaging and artificial intelligence in clinical cardiology. She is an advocate for continued medical education and collaborative, multidisciplinary approaches in complex cardiovascular cases. In addition to Azerbaijani, Dr. Mammadova speaks English , Russian and Turkish. Outside of medicine, she enjoys art and traveling with her family.
