Dr. Efstratios Karagiannidis is a cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). He graduated from AUTH Medical School (2010, Excellent) and completed his Cardiology residency at AHEPA University Hospital (2021). Since 2022, he has been a Consultant Cardiologist at Hippokration General Hospital, Thessaloniki. He holds a PhD in Thrombosis and Coronary Artery Disease (Distinction), funded by European research grants, and two MSc degrees in Health Economics (LSE/ESC, Distinction) and Research Methodology & Biostatistics (University of Thessaly, Distinction). Dr. Karagiannidis has authored 80+ PubMed-indexed publications, including in the European Heart Journal (h-index: 19, citations: 2,362), and has participated in international multicenter studies. He was a member of the ESC Education Committee (2019-2022).
