Georgeta Vaidean, MD, MPH, PhD specialized in Cardiovascular Epidemiology and Cardiovascular Prevention. She started her work in Cluj-Napoca Romania, where she designed and coordinated the SANCOR project. In the United States she worked with multiple national and international epidemiologic databases (ARIC, BRFSS, LRC, PONS). She is also teaching Research Methods, EBM, Clinical Epidemiology/clinical trials and mentors PhD students and cardiology fellows. Dr. Vaidean has developed multiple collaborative clinical research projects in Preventive Cardiology.
